Otis K. Pitts in honor of my beloved father, mentor and friend Dr. Otis Pitts, Jr. A visionary entrepreneur and community leader with decades of experience in real estate development and urban revitalization. As the founder of Peninsula Developers, he has dedicated his career to turning concepts into communities, specializing in affordable housing, economic development, and creating opportunities in predominantly urban areas.

Born and raised in South Florida, Otis understands firsthand the challenges that young people face when pursuing higher education. His passion for community development extends beyond buildings and infrastructure—he believes in investing in people, particularly young women who demonstrate the potential to become tomorrow's leaders.

The Otis Pitts Jr Foundation Corporation was established to channel this commitment into direct action. Through the GAP Scholarship Program, the foundation provides critical financial support to help deserving students bridge the gap between their dreams and financial reality.
